Expecting mediocre late-night pizza? Fuhget about it! Pizzo Pizza tosses some of the best pies in town - and doesn't mind covering long distances to get it to you (we live in Kits - the delivery was made all the way from Denman).

Crust height upon request (from super thin to fluffy medium thickness), plus some saucy little gems on the menu, like homemade secret mushroom pizza and tasty tater tot. And, like Cheers, this is one place you can go where everybody knows your name (well, after three or so calls the owner will).

Best personalized pizza in town. The pizza is always fresh. Whatever you want, just ask for it and you'll get it. If you like spicy food, ask for the "man sauce". Gordon, the manager, will hook you up.

"Quality & Creativity" by Keith Wagschal (1 review)

December 29, 2009 - PIzzo Pizza is a classic neighbourhood shop: quality ingredients, friendly service, and a combination of classic pizza options and creative in the moment creations. The owners and workers are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you get the best slice possible. They use quality meats, and lay on the toppings thick. The best pizza by the slice in Vancouver, hands down.

YUCK!" by Michael S (4 reviews)
December 20, 2009 - To me, pizza is a simple thing that people try to make better by complicating it. This is the experience I had with Pizzo Pizza. Of all the delivery pizza I have ever ordered, it was perhaps one of the worst. Pizza (in my opinion) should be a good crust made out of white flour, a great sauce, and lots of cheese and toppings. This isn't what these guys offer. A Wholewheat crust that was completely tasteless, an unremarkable sauce, and mediocre amounts of sauce. I ordered something called a 'Three Storey Pepperoni'. Their description: Tomato Sauce and a layer of pepperoni, a layer of cheese, a 2nd layer of pepperoni and a 2nd layer of cheese, then a 3rd layer of pepperoni, and a 3rd layer of cheese. You would need a microscope to see the "layers" on this pizza. I have had single topping pizzas from any other place in town that had more to them than this. And to top it off, the pizza sat around for 20+ minutes (after being made) because"they were too busy to deliver it". When it arrived, it was COLD. So, crappy cold pizza. NEVER AGAIN.If you want good pizza in Vancouver's west end, go to Maria's. Olympia is good as well, although not as good as it was 15 years ago.If you are one of those people that loves taking a good tasting, not good for you food like pizza, and changing everything about it so that it's "healthier", but tastes like blah, then Pizzo Pizza is the place for you.

Just a response from us at Pizzo Pizza, we just like everyone to know that this customer actually ordered a pizza off the menu and not actually the 3 storey pepperoni. (he ordered a pizza with triple backbacon instead) AND our pizza crust is NOT a whole wheat crust! We have apologized for the cold pizza and have offered a free pizza the next time he orders.

This was a pleasant surprise! We expected mediocre late-night pizza, but instead received one of the best pizzas we've had in a long time. We ordered a 'secret mushroom' with tater tots on it, and it was fantastic. The order took over an hour to get here, but it was totally worth the wait. On the other hand, they are located several kilometers away, so it was a surprise that they even delivered. Love that they're open late. Friendly service, excellent food.
